Project goal | The overall goal of the project is to enable (remand) prisoners to receive legal services, as well as to achieve social, economic, and entrepreneurial skills. |
Project Objectives | Objective 1: The paralegal unit of the Ghana Prison Service has been strengthened to provide legal services to inmates. Objective 2: Stigma and discrimination against prisoners and ex-offenders have decreased and the mental and psychological health status of beneficiaries has improved. Objective 3: Inmates and ex-offenders are reintegrated economically after having served their custodial sentence. |
